Southfield, MI (PRWEB) September 06, 2012
Provider Exchange Network (PEN), a division of Open Dealer Exchange, LLC, is pleased to announce integration with Innovative Aftermarket Systems (IAS). The IAS SmartMenu application will now feature electronic rating, forms and contract origination for F&I product providers via PEN.
“Integration to PEN was a logical choice for IAS, both as a product provider and a menu provider,” said Matt Nowicki, Vice President of Retail Technology for IAS. “Serving our dealers with flexibility and choice to help them succeed is essential. Integration to PEN allows SmartMenu to further increase the number of providers available in our platform for electronic rating and contract origination.”
Dealers using the IAS SmartMenu system will be able to rate service contracts and other F&I products instantly and without errors. In addition, the system supports plain-paper contracts and electronic origination.
“This is a great example of open integration and providing ultimate flexibility for dealers,” said Ron Greer, Vice President of Provider Services at PEN. “Dealers do not want to jump between multiple software applications to get through the F&I process. Enabling the dealers chosen software to support many providers is good for everyone.”
PEN is an electronic data exchange that streamlines the sales process by integrating the F&I product provider with the dealer’s point-of-sale system, whether through a menu or directly with the dealership management system (DMS) desking software. This unique integration approach eliminates the need for separate applications to enable e-contracting for aftermarket products. Functions include electronic ratings, forms preparation and contract origination.
