Mens-Ties.com, a San Francisco based niche retailer selling men's neckties and bow ties online, just published a guide teaching men how to alter their wardrobe for the current fall season. The series consists of eight pieces, each of which highlights a different aspect of how men should approach style and fashion this fall.
“Fall is one of our favorite times of the year, and for good reason,” says Mens-Ties.com founder Hendrik Pohl. “People all throughout the country start thinking about how to approach the shift in temperatures, and a lot of these same individuals end up spending a great deal of money on new pieces. We wanted to publish a series that would help our readers determine how best to approach shopping for the fall, as it can be quite easy to spend more than is necessary on purchases that are superfluous at best.”
Each piece in the series focuses on a specific aspect of fall fashion for men. Shopping options for those who are heading back to school are highlighted, for example, as is the topic of how to properly accessorize for the fall. Additional pieces focus on how to choose the perfect sweater, how to wear plaid effectively and which trends are worth embracing this year.
“We get a lot of questions from readers about which trends are hottest throughout a given period of the year,” says Pohl. “It’s important to realize, however, that a lot of trends are not worth embracing, and simply fade away before they ever become popular. One of the pieces in this series focuses on which Fall 2012 trends are indeed worth paying attention to, and we anticipate it to be exceptionally popular.”
Mens-Ties.com is well known for publishing article series relating to men’s fashion. In addition to seasonal series such as this, the website publishes pieces that dissect the history of men’s fashion, celebrity style, how to tie a tie, and more.
“The article series are exceptionally popular, and it should come as no surprise as to why this is,” says Pohl. “Our readers are about as fashion-forward as it gets, and are hungry to learn more about how to take their own style to the next level. We certainly have a lot of fun with our article series, but the main goal is to educate readers so that they feel more confident when it comes time to throw on a new piece or ensemble.”
