The Luxe Hotel, located at 360 North Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, CA will be swarming with the “who’s who” in finance and film as they attend a full day of project pitching, networking, entertainment, and financier forums from 9-2pm and 5-11pm. The Film Finance Awards (http://www.filmfinanceawards.com) launch will begin with a morning round table discussion sponsored by Forrest Capital “Packaging an Independent Film” alongside industry heavies Leslie Forrest Sheldon (Forrest Motion Pictures Ltd), Matthew Rhodes (President, Mandalay Vision Pictures), Jeanette Buerling (CEO Magnet Media Group), and Mary Aloe (CEO Aloe Entertainment). Following will be a pitch forum complete with panel discussion spotlighting “Pitching in a Down Economy” and “Crowdfunding as an Alternative”. Panelists include: Jack Kenny, (President of Creative Development Imagination Colony), Jared Safier (Founder/CEO Safier Entertainment), Keith Aaron (CEO, Bayview Consulting Group), Tom Malloy (Head of Film Production, New Films International), author of “Bankroll, A new Approach to Financing Film”, Christopher Williams (Managing Director Princebury Productions & Media, LLC), and David Marlett (CEO BlueRun Crowdfund, Executive Director of the National Crowd Funding Association).
Invited Guests will enjoy the evening gala on Luxe Hotel’s rooftop and the “LA Experience” specially orchestrated by the creator of It’s So LA™’s Kellie Koppel, including a luxury lounge offering lifestyle and spa treatments. “Fashion Passport” television show and MJ Icons will debut the “Zachary Collection” for Men by Alexander Paul Designs, “Beryll--worn by good people” by Sigmar Berg, and “The Evening” collection by BH Haute. Models will be styled by celebrity hair stylist, Ramses III and celebrity fashion stylist, Keirstin Selvage. Live music includes ongoing lounge DJ set from East Coast Hypeculture’s DJ Ty Walker, acoustic performances from singer/actor Jesse Pacheco and Christy Paige, and late night finale show with world-renowned hypnotist Peter Kingsley.
