GREENVILLE, NC (PRWEB) September 07, 2012

Today, Janus Development Group, Inc., based in Greenville, N.C., announced a new lower pricing structure for its popular anti-stuttering device-SpeechEasy. The change reflects the company’s desire to make SpeechEasy more affordable for people who stutter.

President Alan Newton states, “Clients have told us for years that we need to add a low cost SpeechEasy model to our product line and we feel that this is an important first step. In the past, our 4 models of SpeechEasy have ranged in price from $4100 to $5100. With this change our SpeechEasy product line will have a price range of $2500 to $4500. While we have seen competitor devices actually increase in price over the years, we have held our prices firm since the inception of SpeechEasy in 2001. We feel the time is right for SpeechEasy to not only be the most effective anti-stuttering device in the world but also the most affordable.”

SpeechEasy is a division of Janus Development Group, Inc. which develops and markets portable, fluency-enhancing devices and software that can help people who stutter to speak more fluently. SpeechEasy is a synthesis of miniaturized hardware and cutting-edge digital technology that provide customized, fluency-enhancing delayed auditory feedback (DAF) and frequency altered feedback (FAF) which together produce a natural phenomenon known as the “choral-effect.” The choral effect occurs when a person’s stutter is dramatically reduced or even eliminated when they speak or sing in unison with others. The choral effect has been well documented for decades and SpeechEasy bring these effects to a wearable device that can be used every day. Approximately 3 out of 4 people who stutter will benefit from a SpeechEasy fluency device.

SpeechEasy is dispensed by 110 licensed and trained Speech Language Pathologists located throughout the United States and internationally by licensed distributors in over 50 countries.
