Charlottesville, VA (PRWEB) September 07, 2012
OpenQ, the leading provider of solutions to enable life sciences and health care companies to overcome compliance and exposure risks, today announced the addition of a new feature to its MobileQ and Engage solutions (http://bit.ly/R9cW3W). Medical Information Request Forms (MIRFs) can be requested by field-based personnel off-line and capture signatures on mobile devices.
“Currently, many life sciences organizations utilize a very manual process to complete a MIRF, including printing, scanning and faxing or emailing, creating a very labor- and cost-intensive system,” said Otavio Freire, Chief Technology Officer, OpenQ. “Tracking down original documents, or even using a website, can create additional costs and risks for an organization. Additionally, the ability to reduce the capture and response times to these Health Care Provider (HCP) requests can have a significant impact on the overall success of the HCP relationship, not to mention standard of care.”
In response to this challenge, OpenQ has provided new MIRF capabilities within Engage to submit, route and track requests, and can be integrated with existing medical information systems. MobileQ users have the additional capacity to enter details and capture signatures using mobile devices even when not connected to the Internet. MobileQ is available currently for download from the AppleTM App Store. OpenQ’s Engage helps build compliant and high-impact field medical programs while serving as a vital asset for field effectiveness, strategy, and compliance. MIRFs are utilized by life sciences companies in the development and marketing of products for compliant collaboration between the company employees and their customers.
This new MIRF functionality extends OpenQ’s industry-leading KOL management solutions, which already includes access to OpenQ’s extensive profile data as well as the ability to record and analyze real-time KOL interaction information. This profile data, curated by industry experts to ensure completeness and accuracy, can be automatically synchronized with individual MobileQ-enabled iPad devices in the field.
MobileQ’s unique capabilities ensure that your field force and headquarters have the ability to review critical information, share content, or submit vital interaction details regardless of whether individuals are online or offline. The MIRF capabilities provide a natural fit for any field-based sales or medical team.
