Infogix Inc., the leading provider of business operations management solutions, today announced that its upcoming ICON 2012 conference will include a track dedicated to examining the implications of health care reform on the core business operations of health care payer organizations. The Health Care Reform Act (2010) includes a mandate that payers reduce administrative and operations costs without reducing service levels. Industry experts and executives with health care organizations such as Health Care Service Corporation, WellPoint, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, Healthscape Advisors, Oliver Wyman, Blue Cross Blue Shield Association and Topaz will advise attendees on how they can effectively address the operational improvements the health care legislation demands.
“There has never been a more critical time for organizations to review their operations in order to meet the imperatives of the new laws while reducing the cost of operations,” said Sumit Nijhawan, chief executive officer, Infogix. “The Health Care Reform track at ICON 2012 will provide attendees with invaluable advice from their colleagues and thought leaders.”
In addition to the presentations and panel discussions, Infogix will showcase its solution platform and operations review framework for the healthcare payer organizations. Solutions and workshop topics will include:
“These sessions will be beneficial to executives, directors and operations managers at health plans and third party administrator organizations that are responsible for risk management, compliance, internal audit or operational excellence initiatives for their organizations,” said Nijhawan.

ICON 2012 will be held Sunday, Sept. 30 - Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012 at Chicago’s Westin River North hotel.
