Multimedia marketing agency's rapid growth continues with addition of senior staff and talent to its Capital Region team servicing clients nationwide.

"With the acquisition of Brayton Graphics and hiring of Lisa Barone, Overit now has the region’s most skilled divisions for marketing, public relations, web design and development, SEO/PPC, advertising and social media services," Dan Dinsmore, CEO Overit

Overit, a leading interactive media agency, announced today the expansion of its talented creative staff with the hiring of nationally-recognized content and social marketing thought leader Lisa Barone, along with the acquisition of Brayton Graphics, an award-winning boutique design and development firm.

As vice president of strategy, Barone will oversee Overit’s marketing consulting, social media and content divisions and serve on the agency’s senior staff. She is known internationally for pioneering many of the best practices and strategies for social media, marketing and content in the online, digital world. Media outlets such as Forbes, Yahoo, Businessweek and Inc. have recognized Barone for her leadership and blogging in these arenas. Barone was most recently the chief branding officer for Outspoken Media, a company she co-founded and grew into a leading search firm in less than three years.

“Integrated strategies that tie SEO, social, content and motion into a single, unified message put clients ahead of competitors, while respecting dollars. The success of Overit continues to be based in that achievement," said Barone. "I'm excited to join a team so rich in creative excellence and the belief that boundaries are meant to be broken, and I look forward to building on that record.”

The acquisition of Brayton Graphics adds more talent to Overit’s powerhouse design and development team. Elizabeth Delos founded Brayton Graphics in 2006 and today works for Capital Region brands like the Center for Economic Growth, Northeast Parent & Child Society and Mazzone Hospitality. She also won The Business Review’s 40 under 40 Award in 2010. Delos joins Overit’s senior staff as director of client services, and her team will add its expertise to their correlating Overit departments, bringing the firm to a 36-person headcount. Terms of the deal will not be disclosed at this time.

“As marketing a brand becomes more complex and integrated, having the interactive divisions and quality of design that comes with Overit will be an incredible asset to our clients,” said Delos. “We know this acquisition means a more comprehensive offering to the brands we work with in addition to a new challenge for our staff.”

This agreement significantly strengthens both organizations’ abilities to represent Fortune 1000 brands and emerging companies at the local, state and national levels. With the completion of its acquisition of Portfolio PR Group in January, Overit now has the region’s most skilled divisions for marketing, public relations, advertising and social media services. Capabilities include award-winning design, development, mobile apps, motion graphics and SEO/PPC management.

“Overit’s expansion over the past year required senior talent that fit into our drive and culture,” said Dan Dinsmore, CEO and president of Overit. “Overit’s content, social media and organic search services have tripled over the last year and know Lisa’s leadership will be instrumental in furthering our client’s success. Likewise, Liz and her team share the same quality of design and development in their portfolio as we do. We are gaining an incredible team of proven talent, not to mention Liz’s leadership and client strategy.”

Overit works for national and local companies including Clarizen, Wifarer, Mendix, imo.im, The Plastic Surgery Group, Nickelodeon, Hill & Markes, Maria College, DeCrescente Distributing Company, Marvel Comics, Garrett Hotel Consultants and more.
