Overit, a leading interactive media agency, announced today the expansion of its talented creative staff with the hiring of nationally-recognized content and social marketing thought leader Lisa Barone, along with the acquisition of Brayton Graphics, an award-winning boutique design and development firm.
As vice president of strategy, Barone will oversee Overit’s marketing consulting, social media and content divisions and serve on the agency’s senior staff. She is known internationally for pioneering many of the best practices and strategies for social media, marketing and content in the online, digital world. Media outlets such as Forbes, Yahoo, Businessweek and Inc. have recognized Barone for her leadership and blogging in these arenas. Barone was most recently the chief branding officer for Outspoken Media, a company she co-founded and grew into a leading search firm in less than three years.

The acquisition of Brayton Graphics adds more talent to Overit’s powerhouse design and development team. Elizabeth Delos founded Brayton Graphics in 2006 and today works for Capital Region brands like the Center for Economic Growth, Northeast Parent & Child Society and Mazzone Hospitality. She also won The Business Review’s 40 under 40 Award in 2010. Delos joins Overit’s senior staff as director of client services, and her team will add its expertise to their correlating Overit departments, bringing the firm to a 36-person headcount. Terms of the deal will not be disclosed at this time.
