St. Louis, MO (PRWEB) September 08, 2012
GMF Inc. of Moberly and Blue Springs, Mo., which operates as Foundation Recovery Systems, is among 11 businesses and two charities that will be presented with BBB TORCH Awards for exceptional ethical business practices and customer service from the Better Business Bureau (BBB) Serving Eastern Missouri and Southern Illinois on Nov. 2.
Jeff W. Martin, president, said employee training and customer service are paramount in the foundation repair business. His company belongs to a contractor network, which provide training to members and their employees as well as sharing information to improve businesses.
“We do more training to make sure the job is done right,” Martin said. Each customer contact is tracked on a computer system that shows who the customer talked to at each step, from the initial call to the appointment to installation and then billing. The system helps the customer’s job flow seamlessly, and if a problem does arise, it is remedied quickly.
The BBB will present the TORCH Awards at a luncheon on Friday, Nov. 2 at the Chase Park Plaza. Tickets for the luncheon are available at $50 a person, or $500 for a table of 10. Patron tables for 10 are available for $1,500. Reservations can be made by calling 314-645-0606.
