ANHAM-ICSS Awarded Drainage System Project by USACE

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, on behalf of the Middle East District, has announced that ANHAM-ICSS JV has been awarded the Drainage System project in Bagram, Afghanistan. The project will improve the topographical lay out of the location and provide more efficient drainage from the site for a safer weather-ready environment.

“We are pleased to have been selected by the USACE to aid in their endeavors in the region,” said Mr. A.H. Farouki, Chairman and CEO of ANHAM FZCO. He added, “Our team looks forward to continuing our tradition of executing projects on time and on budget.”

ANHAM-ICSS JV’s collaborative endeavor of executing efficient construction and design-build projects throughout South and Central Asia, Middle East, and Northern Africa Regions began in 2011. The USACE selected ANHAM-ICSS JV as a candidate for Mutiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOCs) for their experience in this field.

“ANHAM-ICSS JV’s service to the USACE is something we are honored to maintain,” said Mr. Farouki. “We welcome the opportunity to perform under their contract and ultimately assist in the rebuilding of Afghanistan.”

The task order awarded is valued at $19.9M. The contract period of performance is 600 calendar days.
