InfoDesk today announced that Karen Mirabile has joined its pharmaceutical intelligence sales team, as InfoDesk continues to expand its life science industry information products and services.
Mirabile, as InfoDesk’s Product Sales Manager, will focus on bringing InfoDesk’s new pharmaceutical intelligence platform to market this fall.
“We are really excited to have Karen joining our pharma intelligence group,” InfoDesk President Sterling Stites said in making the announcement, noting that Mirabile “really understands the the pharma research and drug pipeline data needs of the life science market.”

Mirabile brings to InfoDesk more than twenty-five years of experience in the life science information and publishing industry. Most recently, she was a Corporate Sales Manager at Wolters Kluwer Health-Ovid Technologies, where she worked for eight years and focused on selling content to information professionals across the life science industry.
Prior to Ovid, Mirabile worked at Adis International as Business Development Manager for seven years, specializing in business intelligence products, including R&D Insight and Clinical Trials Insight. She previously worked as a Publication Specialist for IMS Health for ten year, where her products included R&D Focus.
Mirabile is an active member of both the Pharmaceutical and Health Technology Division (PHTD) and the Philadelphia Chapter of the Special Libraries Association. She is a past Chair of PHTD and in 2007 received the PHTD Distinguished Member Award.
