Bakersfield, CA (PRWEB) September 06, 2012
To share the amazing stories happening in schools today and reward customers for their innovative ideas, Lightspeed Systems is announcing a new customer contest: Together We Do Amazing Things. The contest will allow Lightspeed Systems customers to share how they are using the company’s solutions, have their submissions voted on by their peers, and have the chance to win money to help them do even more amazing things.
Schools across the country are using Lightspeed solutions to create dynamic classrooms. With My Big Campus, the new Mobile Device Management, and the award-winning web filter, students are able to collaborate 24/7 on an engaging, blending learning platform, and expand learning beyond the walls of the classroom—all within a safe and monitored environment. By utilizing this safe platform, Lightspeed Systems customers are able to create successful learning programs—balancing the educational opportunities of increasing mobile device use with network and student safety. With this new contest, Lightspeed is pleased to provide customers with a platform to share their stories and inspire other districts.
Starting September 8, 2012, schools using the Lightspeed Systems solutions are encouraged to submit their amazing stories on the Together We Do Amazing Things blog. Stories can be shared in various mediums: video, essay, My Big Campus bundle, infographic, photo collage, and more. Lightspeed Systems encourages its customers to be creative and have fun showing off what they have done in their district, school, or classroom. Visitors to the blog will be able to vote up their favorites by liking or sharing. All entries are due December 1, 2012 and the winners will be selected and notified December 20, 2012. First and second place winners will receive $1000 and $500, respectively, and five runner-ups will be awarded $100—so they can all do even more amazing things with the prize money.
Amy Bennett, VP Marketing at Lightspeed Systems, is excited about hearing more from customers. “We know there are some amazing things happening in classrooms using Lightspeed Systems solutions. These schools have made safe, collaborative, mobile learning a priority for their students and we are excited to see their hard work come to life through their submissions. What a better way to inspire and encourage others than to share real-world stories of transformed classrooms and engaging learning programs!”
Lightspeed Systems is dedicated to improving the learning experience for K12 students. But they know the real work happens on the front line, in the classroom. They want to hear about those stories: about the teacher inspiring her students to collaborate and take projects to the next level, about the school seeing improvements in student achievement since adopting a mobile learning program, and about the classroom creating its own curriculum with student directed videos and tutorials. These amazing stories need to be shared—to give recognition and to inspire others.
