Man Patch was created for men to display the adventures they have accomplished, and as a reward for their hard work. “You can’t pin a picture of your last amazing adventure on your clothes everyday, but you can sew on a patch that represents it,” says company founder Dustin Hawes. “Our company exists for one reason – to get men into the wild and have adventures of a lifetime.”
The idea for Man Patch was conceived over the course of two separate adventures. The first, while hiking 26 miles on Crow Pass Traverse in Alaska on an abnormally hot day, and the second, while biking 65 miles on the Denali National Park Road. “On each occasion I kept thinking to myself, ‘for doing something this demanding, something so out of the way from normal everyday life, people should earn something like a patch that says - I did this,’” Hawes explained. And thus, the Man Patch idea was born.
We created our company as a way to inspire men to get outdoors, experience the world, and recognize their achievement.
