"“We will only be announcing the guides through special social media avenues. Individuals wanting a copy of the guide will need to like or already be a member of our Facebook page or will need to subscribe to our Twitter feed."

In a recent first of month meeting, content manager Megan Coogle, discussed the new expansion and what the expansion will mean for the sites reader base. During the meeting Ms. Coogle discussed what the guides will cover, how they will be made available to readers and the frequency the guides will be made available to readers.

“The guides will begin appearing during the month of September. Our goal is to offer green living guides that are comprehensive and informative without being long winded. Each guide will cover a different aspect of green living including green homes, green home building, DIY projects, and financing as it relates to green living. The guides will be delivered through the website and available for direct download in pdf format. We anticipate providing readers with one to two guides per month.”

Ms. Coogle went on to say that readers who wish to obtain the free download of the guides will need to be subscribed to either the Facebook fan page or through the Twitter feed. “We will only be announcing the guides through special social media avenues. Individuals wanting a copy of the guide will need to like or already be a member of our Facebook page or will need to subscribe to our Twitter feed. Special guides may also be offered on occasion along with special green living discounts and other items as part of the guides release.”

Ms. Coogle stated that the best way for readers to stay updated on the projects, guides, articles and issues with GoGreen.org is to subscribe to one of the many social media options available through the site. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google plus and RSS Feed subscriptions are just a few of the ways that readers can stay informed and connected to events.
