Pink & Blue United is hosting their 2nd Annual End-of Summer Soiree September 15th, 2012, at the Ritz Carlton in Denver, CO. After a successful event last year, the Pink and Blue United is excited for this year’s event hoping to raise even more money in support of giving cancer patients’ living expenses and fertility preservation. The theme of this year’s event is “A Swingin’ Affair.” The festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the attire is cocktail or vintage.
There will be a silent auction running from 5:30 p.m., closing at 7 p.m., followed by the program at 7:30 p.m. The entertainment begins at 8 p.m. and will run until the end of the night with dessert and dancing to follow at 9 p.m. Admission cost is $100 per person or $175 per couple. Attendees can register and buy tickets http://www.blacktie-colorado.com.
Pink & Blue United is a nonprofit foundation that caters to both men and women fighting cancer, including breast, ovarian, testicular, and prostate cancers. They provide financial assistance to these men and women for living expenses and fertility preservation. All funds raised by Pink & Blue United will be divided equally between recipients.
Both businesses and individuals may become sponsors by purchasing a table and making donations. There are three levels of sponsorship gold ($5,000), silver ($3,000), and bronze ($1,500). The gold sponsorship includes a table of 18 for the event, while the silver and bronze sponsorships are eligible for a table of 10. All three levels of sponsorship allow for logos displayed on the Pink & Blue United Facebook, invitations, back drop, signage and goodie bags. Gold and Silver sponsorships will also receive walk of fame stars at the event.
Since one in six men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer and one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer, Pink & Blue United distributes the donations they receive to the people battling these diseases, equally. Recipients are those who the Pink & Blue United’s teams in area hospitals have identified as patients in need.
