This probiotic is a microbial replacement program for the gastrointestinal tract intended for 7 to 14 days depending on the severity of the problem

Health website Rockwell Nutrition (RN) promotes human lactic commensals (HLC) for intestinal health problems and yeast infection. HLC includes human-derived strains of Lactobacillus acidophilus and L. bifidus.
Rockwell Nutrition promotes the probiotic over others that are derived from animal or dairy strains which “may not adhere as well to the human gastrointestinal tract.”
The website explained the purpose of each strain. “Each of the three different strains attach in different areas of the epithelial tissue in the intestinal tract (small and large intestines). This probiotic is a microbial replacement program for the gastrointestinal tract intended for 7 to 14 days depending on the severity of the problem,” says Rockwell Nutrition.
According to RN, “HLC Synbiotic Intensive will crowd out yeast and other undesirable organisms which result from use of antibiotics, chemotherapy, oral contraceptives, and hormone replacement therapy.”
The product can also be used against fungal and Candida infection according to the website.
The website also noted the presence of high concentrations of fructo-oligo-saccharides (FOS).
“FOS is a naturally-occurring water-soluble fiber from fruit and vegetables which feeds the friendly intestinal bacteria. It also provides naturally-occurring beta-carotene from the whole freeze-dried apricot. The apricot is used for its soothing effect on the intestinal walls and also for its flavor,” finishes rockwellnutrition.com.
