Physician Sports Nutrition Releases Salty-Lyte, an Electrolyte Replacement Supplement for Athletes

Sports supplement company releases new product for long endurance athletes.

Physician Sports Nutrition (PSN), an Arizona based company, released their Salty-Lyte's product to the market in August of 2012. Salty-Lyte's are an electrolyte supplement for endurance athletes.

Dr. James Tuggle, one of PSN's staff physician's, commented "Researchers have shown upon lab analysis of athletes after long distance events, a significant amount of hyponatremia (low salt). In one event, post testing showed as much as one in six athletes are hyponatremic and a percentage of those were dangerously low. Salty-lyte's help replace electrolytes and prevent hyponatremia."

"Based on studies and research, we developed a formula to supplement long distance athletes to prevent hyponatremia," continued Dr.Tuggle. "Salty-lyte's replaces electrolytes lost in extreme perspiration."
