Industry-Leading Information Security Solutions Provider Standardizes on RedCloud to Manage Building Access Across Multiple U.S. Office Locations

RedCloud, the industry's fastest-growing provider of web-based, physical access control systems, today announced that FishNet Security, a leading, nationwide provider of information security solutions, has deployed RedCloud Enterprise -- a scalable, web-based access control network appliance platform that enables FishNet Security to manage building security across multiple office locations throughout the United States.

Headquartered in Overland Park, Kan., with 30 offices and facilities scattered throughout the country, FishNet Security is the largest information security provider in North America. With nearly 550 employees, over 5,000 customers and more than $500 million in annual revenues, FishNet Security moved into a larger headquarters in April 2012 to support its continued growth. Several months before the move, it began looking for a physical access control system that could scale with its business, support its regional expansion and provide a standardized upgrade path for its existing and future office locations.

“The web-based nature of the RedCloud system enables FishNet Security to manage building access privileges for all of our employees – no matter where they are located in the country – from one central system accessible from any laptop, desktop or mobile device,” said Brandy Peterson, chief technology officer, FishNet Security.

Given these requirements, FishNet Security turned to American Digital Security (ADS), a leading security systems provider – and a RedCloud authorized integrator – to recommend, design and install a secure, physical access control system that seamlessly integrated with video surveillance, visitor management and identity management systems. It also provided a comprehensive security solution that allowed FishNet Security to remotely manage building access for all participating locations, including its world-class Security Operations Center at its headquarters.

“A single RedCloud Enterprise network appliance allows geographically dispersed organizations, such as FishNet Security, to manage employee and visitor access privileges for the entire company, without the cost burden of maintaining dedicated PC workstations on-site at each regional office,” said Buddy Mason, ADS president. “We can easily migrate new – and existing – FishNet Security offices to the RedCloud system by installing open, non-proprietary door controllers and card readers at each facility, and issuing card access credentials to employees.”

Over the last year, ADS’ nationwide network of security installers has deployed RedCloud’s web-based access control system at FishNet Security headquarters, along with its 30 offices, all of which are integrated with several key IT and security systems, including:

  •     Video Surveillance – RedCloud fully integrates with Avigilon’s video surveillance products, allowing FishNet Security to control IP video cameras, view live and recorded video and associate video clips with alarm/event activity – all from within the RedCloud application.
  •     Visitor Management – RedCloud fully integrates with EasyLobby Secure Visitor Management (SVM) software, enabling FishNet Security to grant different levels of access to visitors, contractors and employees – all from the EasyLobby SVM visitor station.
  •     Identity Management – RedCloud integrates seamlessly with Active Directory to deliver a single, directory-to-directory view into physical and logical access control policies, reports and activities, eliminating the need for FishNet Security to maintain separate database servers at each facility or duplicate employee and visitor information at each location.

“RedCloud is committed to integrating with industry-leading security systems and supporting best-in-class IT standards,” said Terry Neely, RedCloud president, founder and CTO.

RedCloud Enterprise is a web-based, access control network appliance that enables organizations of all sizes to secure their facilities, people and assets at anytime and anywhere from any standard web browser and is exclusively available through a global network of authorized integrators.
