Villa Rica, GA (PRWEB) September 06, 2012
The Frog Golf Club has hired Jason Hofius as General Manager, announced club owner Jeff Stevens. Hofius will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Villa Rica-based, semi-private club.
“We wanted to take The Frog experience to the next level,” Stevens said. “We look forward to Jason raising the level of activities and service in order to become one of the best facilities in the state.”
Hofius brings over 20 years of golf course management experience to western Georgia and has a wide variety of knowledge when it comes to managing a successful club and facilitating growth. Early in his career Hofius took on various roles, building a resume that included the development of golf and junior programs, membership sales, teaching, as well as food & beverage and golf shop management. Most recently, Hofius served at General Manager at The Capstone Club of Alabama in Brookwood, Ala., where he oversaw multiple departments, built a successful team and hosted The 2010 Alabama Open presented by Yamaha.
“I am excited to begin this new chapter at The Frog Golf Club,” Hofius said. “It is truly a beautiful facility that possesses everything needed for positive growth and community development.”
