MIT Enterprise Forum Pittsburgh Names Eight New Members to Board of Directors Comprised of Leaders in Startups, Innovation, Product Development, New Media and Technology

Each of our new members brings forward unique leadership and creative skills which will help our fellow members and sponsors enjoy broad perspectives on the entrepreneurial ecosystem here in the region.

MIT Enterprise Forum Pittsburgh, a leading regional networking and educational organization for entrepreneurs, today announced the appointment of eight new members to the group’s Board of Directors.

Enterprise Forum Pittsburgh is the region's leading networking and educational organization for entrepreneurs. Representing entrepreneurial perspectives from all industries, Enterprise Forum Pittsburgh features events and forums designed to foster a community of entrepreneurialism and creativity. The new board appointments are part of the Forum’s move to infuse new perspectives and contribution from local leaders in entrepreneurial startups, innovation, product development, new media and technology.

New members named include: Michael Annichine, CEO, FlyerCity Media; Jerry Connelly, CEO, MedSage Technologies; Christopher R. Evans, Vice President, TrueFit; Shawn Kelly, CEO, Bionic Eye; David Palmer, CEO, Rewyndr.com, Jean-Luc Park, Founder, Ferrum Capital Partners Founder; Jack Roseman, CEO, Roseman Institute, and Raul Valdes-Perez, former Executive Chairman and CEO of Vivisimo.

Three of the new Board Members have also been named Committee Chairs; Michael Annichine has assumed Chairmanship of the Finance Committee, Christopher R. Evans has assumed Chairmanship of Sponsorship, and Jean-Luc Park has assumed Chairmanship of Nominating/Governance.

Commenting on the new appointments, Craig Waller, Chapter Chair and President of Patintelligent, a Pittsburgh-based Intellectual Asset Management consulting company, remarked, “We are thrilled to announce the newest additions to our board. Each of our new members brings forward unique leadership and creative skills which will help our fellow members and sponsors enjoy broad perspectives on the entrepreneurial ecosystem here in the region. We anticipate the new energy and ideas these distinguished members bring will help continue our chapter’s plans for growth, and increased contributions to the entrepreneurial community.”
