Digital marketing agency, Buzzplant, is partnering with D1 Sports Training, a full-service sports training facility, to spearhead the fast-growing fitness center’s social media and online marketing campaigns.

Buzzplant owner, Bob Hutchins, said, “As a regular attendee of D1 boot camps, I know first hand how beneficial the workouts are to my health and physique. Their local, and now national, brand and reputation for excellence in sports fitness and training is second to none. We are excited to help them expand their reach online and tell their story through social media.”

Since D1’s Middle Tennessee beginnings in 2002, founder Will Bartholomew has positioned D1 as a serious training facility for the professional and collegiate athlete, but equally important to Bartholomew is youth training and confidence building. Buzzplant’s involvement will be to support D1’s online presence by creating strategic social media campaigns around their mission to treat every customer like an elite athlete.

Most of D1’s growth has been attributed to word-of-mouth along with their associations with highly visible professional athletes. By partnering with Buzzplant and their innovating digital marketing strategies, D1 hopes to become a household name synonymous with athletic excellence. Whether the customer is pro ball player or a little leaguer, the goal is the same: building confidence, character, and ability through expert training, exercise, and coaching. D1’s commitment to pro-level training and state-of-the art technology makes D1 “the place for the athlete.”

“We’re so excited to partner with Buzzplant,” said D1’s Matt Toy. “After getting to know Bob Hutchins and the Buzzplant staff, we believe they will help take D1’s social media to the next level.” By expanding D1’s brand, Hutchins and his team will help build D1’s community through their intense workouts and involvement with local events.

In the past 7 years, D1 has moved from their original 1,000 sq. foot warehouse outside of Nashville, Tenn. to a 25,000 sq. foot warehouse in Cool Springs and have expanded to 16 locations in 13 states around the country with two more locations in Orlando, Fla. and Green Bay, Wis. opening soon. Every location is a high-energy facility whose ownership and clientele reads like a who’s who among the nation’s athletic elite. Super Bowl MVP Peyton Manning, Tim Tebow, Herschel Walker, Chipper Jones and many more all have ownership in various locations.

Buzzplant is nationally known as a premier communication specialist in the world of online marketing and social media. The company’s client list ranges from The Chronicles of Narnia, Sony, General Motors, and 20th Century Fox and has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, MSNBC, New York Times, and most recently Mashable.com, the leading social media technology news site.
