Making life better.

Raising Money through running to make life better for those less fortunate has become a way of life for Brett Saevitzon.

Most races have some philanthropic component, whether it's fielding charity teams or asking individuals to raise money for a given cause. The chance to support charities has contributed to the growing number of race participants over the years, with many runners saying that they are primarily motivated to enter events as a way to give back.

At the beginning of 2012, Brett Saevitzon ran over 20 Marathons all over the world, from his native South Africa, to Paris, London and the Antarctic. The races were to benefit various charities, although they all have a common theme of raising money for children. To date, Saevitzon has raised over $100,000 for his running charities.

Brett Saevitzon’s latest charity marathon will be the Los Angeles marathon. He will be running for the Chabad of West Hills Charity and taking a team from his temple through the race, with a goal of raising more than $20,000. If you want to help, please call.
