RedCloud, the industry's fastest growing provider of web-based, physical access control systems, today announced the preview of RedCloud Security Management Software (SMS) 4.0 at ASIS International 2012, the 58th Annual Seminar and Exhibits event in Philadelphia, where the latest release of the industry's most innovative physical access control system will be demonstrated at Booth 4001.

RedCloud SMS 4.0 features a new, completely re-designed, web-based interface that streamlines user workflows with large, taskbar buttons and form fields, simplifies navigation on mobile devices with drop-down and rollover menus and enhances productivity for day-to-day security system users and administrators.

"We completely overhauled the entire user experience of our web-based interface based on direct, ongoing feedback from our customers and VAR channel partners to enhance the performance, navigation and workflow of our revolutionary access control platform," said Terry Neely, RedCloud President, Founder and CTO.

RedCloud SMS 4.0 now includes a powerful, new reporting engine that allows users to easily filter in-depth operational data from over 30 standard reports, including new configuration, identity and transaction activity reports. Enhanced ODBC connectivity in RedCloud SMS 4.0 allows administrators to generate custom, fine-tuned reports with third-party report generators.

RedCloud SMS 4.0 also allows an organization to enforce and maintain enterprise-grade door access control privileges at any of its remote, rural or offline building locations by enabling RedCloud network appliances to operate in “isolation mode” on an internal, local network indefinitely or until external network connectivity is established at the remote site location.

RedCloud SMS 4.0 is now fully integrated with HID Global’s EasyLobby Secure Visitor Management (SVM) software, which allows EasyLobby end users to grant different levels of access to visitors, contractors and employees from the EasyLobby SVM visitor station and automatically deactivate badges within the RedCloud system upon EasyLobby check out.

RedCloud Security Management Software is available on RedCloud’s line of web-based access control network appliances, which are exclusively available from a global network of authorized integrators, and include RedCloud Express for single buildings and small campuses, RedCloud Enterprise for multiple offices, buildings or locations and RedCloud Virtual for organizations running VMware in their IT environment.
