“In life,” says author Dean R. Blanchard, “one either chooses to rise above temptation or fall into a black pit of despair and oblivion.” In his new book, “Pieces of Broken China” (published by iUniverse), ” chronicles the life of one man’s painful past as he searches for his identity. He is forced to deal with a label that will shadow him for the rest of his life.
“It is a walk I took to find myself,” Blanchard explains. “In doing so I had to shed layers upon layers of revenge and self-pity.”
Blanchard’s anthology expresses the value of self-awareness and of finding one’s self to become respected by family and friends.
