Furlough is a place to seek refuge in times of defeat and triumph.

Author Andrew Van Ella recently announced the launch of his new book, Furlough; A Life Told in Suspended Sentences. In 1997, what began as a collection of short journal entries, memories, and thoughts evolved into a thought provoking series of stories reflecting on tough times in life.
Organized chronologically, Furlough explores feelings of pain and hurt as Van Ella writes of his very first heartbreak and guides readers through these intimidating and wounding life moments throughout the book. “Furlough is a place to seek refuge in times of defeat and triumph.” Says Van Ella. “Upon its pages lay a lifetime of both defeat and victory. I only ask the reader to find their own voice within its pages.”
With a strong enthusiasm for poetry since his high school years, Van Ella wrote Furlough as something readers could relate to. “My passion for poetry comes from finding respite is its form; ultimately there is no true form which allows me to express myself fully with restraints.”
Furlough is available via Amazon and Lulu . For more information about Furlough and author Andrew Van Ella please visit http://www.FurloughBook.com.
