PlayCore Employees Donate Time to Improve Play for Chattanooga Children

Day of Caring promotes company values through hands-on community involvement.

PlayCore employees and their families will participate in a Day of Caring project to assist the Chattanooga Human Services Child Care Program with repair and renovation of its playground. Employees will dedicate their time on Saturday, September 8th to paint, clean and repair existing areas of the playground and to install additional equipment for the children served by the center.

“I am extremely grateful,” said Child Care Program Administrator, Ronald Swafford. “With funding so hard to come by, it is great to have PlayCore step up to the plate to assist programs in need.”

PlayCore’s Day of Caring is designed to promote the values of the company by helping build communities through play. The program is also designed to promote teamwork and employee morale through hands-on community involvement.

“Chattanooga Human Services Child Care Program would like to thank all of the wonderful staff that is helping with the PlayCore Day of Caring event,” said April Daniels, Center Supervisor. “I am really looking forward to seeing the children enjoy the new equipment!”
