Ross Vangalis, President of Lamps Global North America, was invited to be the keynote speaker and recently presented to Brazil’s top outdoor advertising and media groups at the Encontro Contato OOH Media Summit in Rio de Janeiro. Vangalis’ closing keynote presentation at Encontro Contato addressed the emerging trends in U.S. digital out-of-home media (DOOH).

Mr. Vangalis stated, “The DOOH trends in North America have not yet emerged in Rio. DOOH represents a multi-million dollar opportunity for Rio’s upcoming 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Summer Olympics.”

“Rio must take advantage of the global digital media influx, harness the power of media big data, and deploy DOOH strategies throughout the burgeoning nation to monetize the immense audience drawn to these epic global events,” explained Mr. Vangalis.
