National Fitness electronics retailer the Heart Rate Watch Company has launched a re-designed website and a new logo effective September 6th.
"We felt a new, cleaner logo was needed that represented who we really were and our true identity, as we have used the same logo for over 4 years we felt it needed to rise to meet the quality of our website", says Rusty Squire, President of the Heart Rate Watch Company.
The company's website has been re-designed for a cleaner, more visual look and focuses more on direct consumer benefits above the fold. "We wanted to show consumers why they should do business with us and what makes us different", says Squire. He adds, "Since we are staffed by real world-class athletes who use the products we wanted people to know that, plus that we have same day shipping, faster warranty, and offer consumers free books on how to use these devices - to my knowledge we are the only company that does this".
The company also added a star rating system on products and has changed its product pages to make them more user friendly and to the point. "We watch our consumers behavior and know where they leave our site, lowering our bounce rate and improving our conversions was a major goal and we have already seen a nice increase in conversions from the effort", states Squire.
NEW BOOK ON THE WAY
"I'm in the process of writing a second book on: How To Strength and Interval Train Effectively", says Squire. He adds, "Our first book on How to Successfully Use A Heart Rate Monitor was a big hit with our customers so we are giving it away for free on our website".
The new book will also be available as a free download from the website.
WORLD-CLASS BLOG TESTERS
"We launched a blog this year and recruited world-class ultra athlete John Yarington to head up our testing program", says Squire. He adds, "We also sponsor the Rockford bike team and the Bridger Ski Foundations Junior Nordic Skiing Team, so we are very involved with athletes at grass root levels".
"John has spent hundreds of hours testing all our products in real situations, not behind a desk, and I get involved to when I can", says Squire. New watches Yarington is testing include the Suunto Ambit, Garmin fenix, Polar RCX5 and Magellan Switch Up.
