NBMBAA Charlotte Chapter Hoping for a Hole in One for Leaders of Tomorrow; Golf Tournament Raises Money for Scholarship Fund 3 Years in a Row

The National Black MBA Association Charlotte Chapter will host the organization’s annual golf tournament to raise money for the chapter’s Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship Fund. The event will start at 8:00 AM Saturday, September 15, 2012.

The leaders of tomorrow need your help to secure a future. The National Black MBA Association Charlotte Chapter will host the organization’s annual golf tournament to raise money for the chapter’s Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship Fund. The event will start at 8:00 AM Saturday, September 15, 2012. The format will be four man captain’s choice with a shotgun at Birkdale Golf Club (16500 Birkdale Commons Parkway, Huntersville, NC 28078.)

Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. A lunch meal will be provided. Team fees are $340 or $85 for individuals, if registered by September 11, 2012. The title sponsor for this year’s tournament is Nationwide Insurance.

The National Black MBA Association Golf Tournament was created to raise funds for the LOT program. Leaders of Tomorrow® (LOT) is an academic enrichment and leadership program serving high school students who demonstrate leadership potential. The LOT program currently serves young adults, ages 14 – 18, in 33 chapters throughout the United States and Canada, along with a contingency in London. Our purpose is to prepare students for college and support their successful transition into adulthood. The NBMBAA Charlotte Chapter was established in 1995 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization incorporated in 1995, which consists of over 200 African-American professionals with graduate degrees in a variety of disciplines including marketing, finance, accounting, human resources, information technology, law, and management. The Chapter’s vision is promoting intellectual and economic wealth within the Mecklenburg County community.
