The Collier Companies (TCC) was ranked 163rd by Florida Trend magazine in the largest private companies division in the magazine’s July 2012 edition. TCC rose over last year’s ranking as the company recorded a 7.1% increase in revenue year over year.

TCC’s continued success is a result of expanding its real estate portfolio. Most recently, TCC acquired 2 new communities from Barrett Properties. The acquisitions expanded TCC’s portfolio to approximately 11,000 units and more than 24,000 bedrooms.The Polo Club Tallahassee, 99 units and 351 bedrooms, was built in 1997 to house Florida State University students. The Polo Club Athens, 168 units and 576 bedrooms, was built in 1996 to house students of The University of Georgia.
