Massapequa, NY (PRWEB) September 17, 2012

Atlantic Auto Group, also known as NY Auto Giant, a chain of 20 automobile dealerships, has appointed automotive industry veteran William Finsilver as General Manager of Lexus of Massapequa to lead and revitalize the strategic growth of the dealership in advance of a relocation project, which will be the largest Lexus facility on Long Island.

Finsilver brings to the Atlantic Auto Group over 25 years of industry-leading knowledge and development expertise as Lexus of Massapequa embarks on a milestone construction and relocation project. John Pickett, Chief Operating Officer of Atlantic Auto Group, when asked why Finsilver was his top choice, affirmed, “Bill’s unique skillset, history with the Lexus brand since its inception, and proven record of sales leadership make him ideally suited to spearhead the biggest dealership relocation project in our company’s 40 year history.”

When asked about this next phase of his gilded career, Finsilver noted, “It is a privilege to join the Atlantic Auto Group and its formidable team of dedicated employees at Lexus of Massapequa. I look forward to reconnecting with customers, some of which have been with Lexus from the very beginning, and welcoming more Long Islanders to discover the uniqueness of the Lexus brand through what will undoubtedly be the top Lexus destination on Long Island for the next 20 years and beyond."

With the flux of economic constraints, shifts in technology and competitiveness between brands, strengthening customer relationships, developing future generations of buyers and positioning the dealership within the ultra-competitive Long Island market is key to Finsilver’s strategy. “Technology has changed the way dealers operate, with social media, e-mail, and texting often the preferred means of communication. That being said, nothing can replace the one-to-one relationships built between customer and employee and a reputation for exceeding the customer’s expectations at every opportunity. A dealership of this size requires an integrated approach of cutting-edge communications, luxury amenities and, last but not least, good old-fashioned personalized service.”
