Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team principal Martin Whitmarsh said:
“The fans in the grandstand and those sitting at home watching on TV are the people we go racing for. I’m a passionate believer that Formula 1 should embrace its fan community – and, as a team, Vodafone McLaren Mercedes is doing much to bring our fans closer than ever before to the action.
“I’m pleased and proud that our team members can not only get access to our home at the McLaren Technology Centre, but can also get the opportunity to step inside the pit garage and see a living and breathing grand prix team in action. That’s an experience that nobody ever forgets.
“The re-designed website makes the experience even more compelling and offers a great package to both casual fans and committed team members.
“I’m always struck by the level of passion, support and enthusiasm that Vodafone McLaren Mercedes generates. Sometimes it can be quite striking – I once remember driving into Silverstone on race morning several years ago and literally being overwhelmed by the number of people sporting Rocket Red T-shirts and caps.
“Your support never fails to lift and inspire us.”
With Lewis Hamilton’s victory in Monza marking a hat-trick of grand prix victories and five wins in 2012 for the Woking based company, there’s hardly been a better time to support Vodafone McLaren Mercedes than now.
