“Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle is a wonderful organization that supports positive change in the community. We are happy to support the kids and volunteers if even in this small way,” said Patent Attorney Tara Williams.

Some Big Brothers and Big Sisters got to enjoy a special night out at the ballpark thanks to a donation from the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin.
The firm donated a set of 30 tickets for a suite at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park to the Big Brother Big Sisters of the Triangle for the Aug. 25 game. Volunteers and their “little brothers” and “little sisters” got to watch the Durham Bulls face off against the Norfolk Tides.
“Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle is a wonderful organization that supports positive change in the community. We are happy to support the kids and volunteers if even in this small way,” said Patent Attorney Tara Williams, who heads the firm’s social services committee.
The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle is to “provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.” The organization aims to strengthen the community by nurturing children, through supportive relationships with positive role models.
“Our ‘littles’ and their Big Brothers and Big Sisters really enjoyed the opportunity to watch our hometown team play a game,” said John Mitterling, chief development officer for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle. “It was a great way for many of them to celebrate the end of the summer!”
