to Launch Nationwide Agent Directory at No Cost to Agents

Share Article, the insurance information website that has been helping people save up to 50% on the premiums since 2003 is expanding its service to include a national agent directory - and insurance agents are invited to join for free.

Since 2003, has offered insurance shoppers the ability to read all about how insurance works, as well as to request no-obligation quotes on homeowners, life, health and auto insurance. Now the site is expanding to include a nationwide directory of insurance agents.

Reaching out to insurance agents with this new product, is inviting insurance brokers and salespeople to join the directory for at no cost to them. Listings will include contact information for the insurance agency, but an agent's name can also be specified. In addition to an agent's name, company, and telephone information, an email address and the URL for the agent's website will also be available to consumers browsing the directory.

For agents, a listing in this directory is one more way to reach potential customers. For consumers, the agent directory will be a way they can "shop local" for insurance, whether they need a new auto policy, or are buying a home and need homeowners coverage.

In addition to the directory, will continue to provide the same helpful information it has offered for the last eight years: articles explaining how different types of insurance works, advice on how customers can cut costs on their coverage, a blog that highlights insurance industry news, and, of course, the quote engine. CEO Jon Davidson says, "Since 2003, we've allowed customers to get an insurance quote at the click of a button, but they couldn't select the company. Now, they have the option to pick the agent first. We think this flexibility is crucial in an economy that is still slow."

Insurance agents and insurance shoppers alike can visit the website for more information. As well, agents interested in joining the directory can send email to for more information.
