The Women’s Board of The Boys’ Club of New York will host its 64th Fall Dance on Tuesday, October 23, at 583 Park Avenue beginning at 7:30 pm with cocktails. Chairing the evening are Allison Aston, Shabnam Henry, Alexandra Lind Rose, Kitty Sherrill, and Jackie Williams. The dinner dance will raise funds to support BCNY’s many recreational, educational, and cultural programs that empower New York’s at-risk boys, enriching their lives and preparing them for brighter futures.
The annual gala attracts New York’s most prominent social leaders. Noted designer Antony Todd will transform the ballroom with a chic and fashionable palate of black, white, and hot pink as well as striking architectural details. Women’s Board member Thorunn Wathne will favor the guests with coveted Wathne umbrellas, embellished with the BCNY logo.
The evening will include a silent auction of many exciting items. Guests will be able to compete for trips to Paris and Cap Ferrat, Cap Juluca, and New Zealand.
The Boys’ Club of New York is the nation’s oldest boys club, founded in 1876. Through its clubhouses and summer camp, BCNY offers programs that help boys and young men stay in school and go on to college, discover their individual musical and artistic talents, develop healthy bodies, and just have fun. BCNY helps build boys into men of character with strong values, discipline, and a positive perspective that counters the negative forces found in today’s world.
