The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf®, the oldest and largest privately-owned specialty coffee and tea retailer, has teamed up with Feeding America® for a multi-faceted fall campaign to raise funds for food banks around the country – one sip at a time. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® will work closely with Feeding America®, the nation’s leading domestic hunger-relief charity, to funnel a portion of the funds raised at each participating café to local food banks in that community.
The fall campaign, kicking off on September 4th, offers coffee and tea drinkers two different ways to support Feeding America’s mission to feed America's hungry through a nationwide network of member food banks and engage our country in the fight to end hunger.
1. Harvest Blend Coffee – From September 4th to November 25th, $1 from the sale of each bag of the limited time Harvest Blend coffee will be donated to the cause. The dark and distinctive full-bodied coffee blend is made with beans from Costa Rica, Colombia, and Brazil to create a unique semi-sweet cocoa aroma, soft fruity flavor and smooth finish. The blend will be available for purchase in-store for $11.95 for a 12-ounce whole bean bag.
2. Feeding America® Gift Card – From September 4th to November 25th, $1 from the sale of each Feeding America® gift card, available for purchase and redeemable at any The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® café, will be donated.
