Details: September 11 will always be significant for Americans, not only for the tragic events that took place in 2001, but for the spirit of service it inspired within many of our brave men and women who enlisted in the aftermath. As a response to 9/11 the USO developed the Operation USO Care Package Program to send a touch of home and necessities to troops serving overseas.
The USO is hosting a service project in support of America’s troops and their families. This special service project represents an extraordinary opportunity for us all to come together on this historic day to express our gratitude and admiration for those who currently serve.
