Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) September 20, 2012
The Balboa Music Festival, LLC has officially issued a statement regarding the trials and tribulations of this past weekend's festival. They are grateful for the RnB fans who traveled from all over the Greater Southern California area coming out to support the legendary line up featuring: Kelly Price, SWV, Cameo, Robin Thicke, New Edition, Keyshia Cole and Gladys Knight. Gladys Knight was indeed on site and prepared to perform, though she was not permitted to do so as the concert was required to end at 7:00 p.m. in accordance with the City of Los Angeles.
Undeniably, Balboa Music Festival, LLC "fell victim to the circumstances of the exceedingly hot weather conditions, thousands of same day walk-up ticket sales, and access to only one point of entry" for ingress and egress.
The principals of Balboa Music Festival, LLC are humbled by the overwhelming turnout of this inaugural event, which was one of the largest music festivals of its kind to be hosted in the San Fernando Valley. With over 10,000 patrons in attendance, there were zero arrests or altercations reported by the police. Furthermore, most every patron stayed through the duration of the day to enjoy truly exhilarating artist performances.
Balboa Music Festival, LLC is appreciative of their political supporters, sponsors, vendors and each and every one of their valued patrons for this event. The principals of Balboa Music Festival, LLC are committed to remain in integrity with their vision for this event to provide quality entertainment to the Southern California community.
Balboa Music Festival, LLC has created a response channel for patrons through their website at http://www.balboamusicfestival.com and plan do everything in their power to "MAKE IT RIGHT" for participating patrons of discomfort.
