Professional New York based photographer Ellen Fisch recently joined the inspiring new Facebook Fine Art Photography Group brainchild photographer Matthew G. Beall.

Concentrating on architectural fine art photography, photographer Ellen Fisch is always searching for inspiration. “Photographer Matthew G. Beall’s Fine Art Photography Facebook Group is a great way to be inspired by the work of other photographers,” says Fisch. “From a young age, I have looked at countless photographs, the masters and as well as the work of my peers, to expand my own creativity. The ease and diversity of the Facebook platform to view photography and to reach out to others passionate about this art form is priceless.”

Broading her horizons is not new to Fisch. The photographer took many classes in architectural drawing; painting; interior and industrial design and sculpture to understand the three dimensional form. Infusing her photography with fine art principles gives Fisch’s sepia architectural images a unique look that goes beyond the point and shoot photo. “Fashioning fine art photographs from architecture is creating art from art,” remarks Fisch.

Fisch first became acquainted with fine art photographer Matthew G. Beall through his abstract paintings. Beall, an American who lives in Ulm, Germany was introduced to Fisch by award winning author Michael K. Corbins in NYC six years ago. From that time, the two artist/ photographers have kept in touch on a regular basis: discussing art, photography and life. Fisch finds the interaction with a passionate and talented artist such as Beall encouraging and exhilarating in discovering new aspects of her own art.

Throughout the Fisch and Beall correspondence, many artistic and productive ideas were exchanged. Recently, when Fisch signed on to Beall’s Fine Art Photography Facebook Group, she was rewarded by a growing number of interactions with many photographers and the chance to see some top notch photography from all over the world. The Group is steadily increasing in membership every day to incorporate as many forms of photography as there are photographers. “The opportunity to exchange information in a heartbeat was fostered and nurtured by Facebook. In creating the Fine Art Photography Group, Matt (Beall) gives so many fine art photographers the connection we can learn from and appreciate,” says Fisch.
