BCI Burke, premier manufacturer of commercial playground, park and recreation equipment with world headquarters in Fond du Lac, WI, recently welcomed Mike Phelan as Vice President of Operations. In his new role, Phelan will oversee Burke initiatives for engineering, manufacturing, new products, process improvement, quality control and customer service.
For the last 15 years, Phelan worked for Associated Spring-Barnes Group, a diversified spring manufacturer that serves the Aerospace & Defense, heavy-duty truck, automotive, general industrial and medical markets. Since 2008, he served as GM of US Operations where he oversaw five manufacturing facilities throughout the US. Phelan received his Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and his Master of Engineering Management from the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE).
