Charlotte, NC (PRWEB) September 12, 2012
For seven years, Max Gardner’s Bankruptcy Boot Camp has served as a training ground for consumer bankruptcy lawyers who wanted to take their practices to the next level by enhancing client services and dramatically increasing revenues. His Bankruptcy Litigation Model and cutting-edge work in combatting predatory lending and dishonest debt collection methods have received coverage from national news outlets such as The Washington Post, ABC’s Nightline News and Bloomberg. Now, Gardner is responding to repeated requests for high-quality education in related areas of law, including basic bankruptcy training, a comprehensive foreclosure defense seminar, a Chapter 11 Boot Camp and a new litigation strategies track.
NEW upcoming events include:
Evidence and Deposition Seminar, September 22-23, 2012 in Charlotte, North Carolina: Max, Judge F. Donald Bridges and some of Max’s most successful Boot Camp graduates will discuss and model strategies for getting evidence admitted (or keeping it out), taking and using depositions and questioning the key witnesses you’ll encounter again and again in consumer practice, such as robo-signers, master document custodians and creditors’ computer technicians.
Chapter 11 Boot Camp, October 4-7, 2012 just outside Chicago, Illinois: Veteran bankruptcy attorneys Dan Press and Brett Weiss, authors of Chapter 11 for Individual Debtors: A Collier Monograph, provide a comprehensive education in Chapter 11 for individuals. The seminar, workshop and materials provided are designed to fully prepare consumer bankruptcy attorneys to handle individual Chapter 11 cases, even if it is their first exposure.
Foreclosure Defense Boot Camp, October 12-14, 2012 in Charlotte, North Carolina: For the first time, Max and his panel of experts and industry insiders combine all of the key elements of foreclosure defense into one three-day seminar. Topics include securitization, mortgage servicing, Fannie and Freddie uniform mortgage documents, negotiability of residential mortgage notes, application of UCC Articles 3 and 9 and litigation strategies.
Currently, the Basic Bankruptcy Training is available only via streaming video subscription. The line-by-line walk-through of the Voluntary Petition, Schedules, Statement of Financial Affairs and Means Test is presented by Dan Press and Brett Weiss. The 13+ hour package includes not only instruction on completing the bankruptcy forms, but also discussion of the pitfalls for both attorney and client, advice on where to find and how to verify required information, tips on the opportunities for advocacy in the preparation process and avoiding common mistakes. Single-subject videos may also be purchased separately.
At the same time, free resources are being added to the Boot Camp website, including an extensive standing bibliography prepared and regularly updated by Robin Miller. In the coming months, the Boot Camp will continue to expand its offerings, adding online foreclosure defense and litigation strategies options as well as additional live events.
