Boca Raton, Florida (PRWEB) September 13, 2012
Invenstar, LLC has appointed Mr. Ron Schnell as President of the prominent software development firm. The company is renowned for its TouchSuite® point-of-sale touchscreen technology and integrated management solutions for small to mid-sized businesses. Mr. Schnell will drive the expansion of product capabilities as well as the advancement of payment processing applications for its merchant services business.
"The marketplace demands for a robust point of sale solution in the small business arena still remain unsatisfied," said Sam Zietz, CEO of American Bancard, LLC, Invenstar's affiliated company. Ron brings the strategic intuition and years of experience in software engineering and development to help us take advantage of the opportunity that lies ahead. We proudly welcome Ron to the Invenstar team."
Ron has over 30 years of experience in technology, having started out as a senior level software developer at Bell Laboratories, Sun Microsystems, and IBM, as well as at Syracuse University, New York University, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Later in his career he founded three software startups: Secure Online Systems, Inc., Driver Aces, Inc., and MailCall.Com, which he sold to a public company at the apex of the .COM boom. He continued as an officer of that public company for several years. Most recently he ran the day-to-day operations of The Technical Committee, a private corporation that was ordered to be formed by the U.S. Courts for the sole purpose of monitoring Microsoft Corporation for their compliance with the antitrust Final Judgments of 2002. He grew that company from a small team in Bellevue, Washington and Palo Alto, California to a large group of elite software developers and investigators around the country. The organization and its success were publicly praised by the U.S. Attorney General, Attorneys General for several states, and by the Federal Court Judge presiding of the largest antitrust case in U.S. history.
With the hiring of Mr. Schnell, Invenstar, LLC fortifies its strategy of continuing to grow as a major point-of-sale technology solutions provider, and for continuing to experience great success in serving the needs of small business owners in the salon, retail, and pet market segments.
