I congratulate each and every one of our students and am delighted that their hard work has paid off, enabling so many of them to go to the university of their choice

OCVC, the largest provider of further education training in Oxfordshire, is delighted to announce another successful year of A-level student achievement. OCVC's performance is even better than last year, with 100% of A-level programme students passing all of their A2 exams.

76% of OCVC's students have achieved A* to C in subjects ranging from Biology to Mathematics and History to English Literature, up 6% on last year. 47% have achieved A* to B, up 7% on last year.

OCVC Principal, Sally Dicketts, says: “I am thrilled that our students have done so well, and in particular that our A* to B results are up by 7% as it is so important now for young people not only to pass their A-levels but also to achieve high grades. I congratulate each and every one of our students and am delighted that their hard work has paid off, enabling so many of them to go to the university of their choice.”

OCVC provides further education training in Oxfordshire for thousands of students who have turned their lives around with OCVC learning.

OCVC offer a wide range of full and part-time courses from entry to degree level, a range of learning for leisure courses, bespoke employer training, and courses which will help the unemployed get back into work. Oxford and Cherwell Valley College have a friendly and supportive environment where students can make friends, enjoy life as they learn, and enhance their employability, confidence and communication skills alongside their qualification.

OCVC's campuses are located in the ancient university city of Oxford and on the edge of a picturesque Cotswolds market town. The specialist centre in Bicester is based in the heart of the not-so-famous “Motorsport Valley”. Small class sizes in a creative and diverse environment make it a good choice for students eschewing university to achieve their HE qualification.

OCVC has campuses in Bicester, Banbury and in Oxford city. Where students will be taught depends on the course they decide to study, but all campuses are well placed. Oxford and Banbury campuses are within walking distance of their historic centres, and Bicester is at the heart of 'Motorsport valley' offering the full motorsports experience to engineering students.
