“Statistics clearly illustrate that the natural and organic personal care (cosmeceutical/anti-aging) market continues to grow at a rapid pace, with U.S. sales experiencing doubled-digit growth since 2009,” said Mitch Gould, CEO of NPI. “Projected 2015 U.S. sales of natural personal care products across all categories is estimated at $6 billion. Due to the massive opportunities that the natural/organic personal care market offer and NPI’s growing portfolio of personal care clientele, NPI has created a new division: NPI HBC (Natural/Organic).”
Fabiano will lead the efforts of this division, overseeing the company’s efforts in the natural and organic personal care category.
“We are confident in Mike’s ability and proven track record of selling a variety of natural and specialty CPGs, which include natural and organic personal care products,” Gould said. “NPI’s infrastructure and proven operating systems, combined with Mikes’ dedicated focus to this division, means that we will enable our clients to penetrate the U.S. market swiftly and profitably.”
Fabiano is an industry veteran who has over 15 years of experience selling and marketing CPGs within the natural/specialty industry. He is highly skilled in building relationships, outside sales, education and national chain account management, focusing on account development, client retention and sales growth.
“In looking to fill this role for our new division, we needed an experienced professional who had demonstrated a high degree of competence in account management and developing client relationships,” said Gould. “Mr. Fabiano has had a great deal of success over his career in securing a number of very impressive accounts. We are very pleased to welcome Mike to the NPI team.”
Fabiano has secured new product placement and managed accounts such as Wal-Mart, Walgreens, Kroger, Kmart, CVS and GNC. In the past, he has also served in key roles as a national and regional sales manager. Specific to the personal care market, Fabiano worked with ShiKai and also provided support to his family-owned personal skin care brand, Sofnicity.
“NPI is an outstanding company that is doing some very innovative things when it comes to selling, marketing and distributing products from worldwide brands across the United States,” said Fabiano. “This is a very exciting opportunity for me, and I look forward to sharing with more clients the value of the services provided by NPI.”
