Financial Services Will Be Integrated Into One Easy-to-Use Platform

As part of its plan for strategic growth, American Airlines Federal Credit Union (AA Credit Union) has contracted with MeridianLink. Developer of the financial industry's first multi-channel account opening and loan origination platform, MeridianLink offers a seamless solution, which can be used in-branch, online and via call centers and kiosks.

“The MeridianLink system is much more powerful and robust when compared to our current online capabilities,” explains Susan Longley, Vice President of Consumer Lending and Account Services for AA Credit Union. “We are looking forward to being able to provide business loans in addition to consumer loans – including auto, airplane, credit cards, personal and home equity – through the system. We are also planning to integrate Docusign into the platform, so we can offer our members the convenience of e-signatures.”

AA Credit Union indicated that the MeridianLink “decision engine” was a major factor in choosing the platform. “We will be able to better customize our lending guidelines and incorporate additional loan parameters,” Longley noted. “When compared to the other systems we considered, the MeridianLink platform was able to make more intelligent and informed decisions.”

In addition, Longley is looking forward to a fully automated and more dynamic cross-sales capability. “By fully integrating our account opening and lending in one seamless platform, we can automatically provide members with customized offers unique to their needs and credit history,” she said. “We’re expecting phenomenal results from this improved cross-sell proficiency.”
