Business Families Foundation and the Family Business Network of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) announced 1 September 2012 the launch of a worldwide, multi-year educational program in multiple languages to serve YPO members who are part of family-owned and privately-owned businesses. Through this collaboration, BFF will work directly with the YPO Family Business Network to provide YPO members with tailored educational face-to-face courses and online modules, webinars, mobile apps and other learning tools.
“The partnership between the YPO Family Business Network and Business Families Foundation provides exceptional educational resources for our global members who are family business owners and entrepreneurs,” said YPO International Board Chairman Chuck Davis. “I am excited to be able to offer business families a platform to help them identify common challenges and resolutions. I’m looking forward to the evolution of this dynamic collaboration between YPO and BFF.”
This educational program covers a broad range of topics on family business governance, management, succession and transition and can provide value to the various members of the business family including CEOs, entrepreneurs, successors, spouses, partners and youth. A dedicated website will be available in the early fall to allow YPO members to sign in and develop their customized learning program.
