Kimbia Racing – which offers the most powerful and flexible event management and online fundraising platform in the marketplace – today announced that it is providing the online registration and website for IMG Worldwide’s Inaugural Beijing International Triathlon, scheduled for September 16, 2012 in China’s capital city.

This is the second time that IMG Worldwide – one of the leading global sports, fashion and media companies – has tapped Kimbia Racing to handle critical race management functions, signaling an expansion of the relationship between the two firms.
IMG also engaged Kimbia Racing to develop and implement a secure, lottery-based registration system for this year’s Escape from Alcatraz™ Triathlon, among the world’s most prestigious and grueling triathlons, held annually in San Francisco.

The Inaugural Beijing International Triathlon will be the first qualifying event in Asia for Escape from Alcatraz. Race organizers expect it to draw triathletes from all corners of the globe, including many of the most successful international competitors. The top 50 men and women from each group and division in the Beijing race will win coveted slots to compete at Alcatraz in 2013.
