Alison Tran joins the NEOS Management Team as Sales Director, effective September 10, 2012. In her new role, Alison will be responsible for business development in the New England and Boston metro area, with emphasis on the insurance industry.
Alison is an IT strategy and business development leader who brings over 12 years of cross-industry experience on federal, state and commercial projects.
Prior to joining NEOS, Alison was an Industry Consulting Principal for Hewlett-Packard where she built and managed a pipeline of over $18M worth of consulting opportunities. In this role, she strategically positioned Hewlett-Packard’s technology portfolio, drove strategic sales efforts, and maintained executive-level relationships across major global- and enterprise-level financial services accounts. Alison’s experience as a consulting practitioner and IT strategist is deep, with client engagements spanning federal and state government agencies, the pharmaceutical industry and the actuarial division of a global insurance company.
Alison received an M.S. in Public Administration from The George Washington University, a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in Spanish from Nazareth College of Rochester. She was the recipient of various awards and scholarships, including the Thomas R. Pickering Graduate Foreign Affairs Fellowship and Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. She was also a William G. McGowan Scholar.
