Seattle, WA (PRWEB) September 13, 2012
Puget Sound Business Journal named search engine marketing firm Point It to its annual list of the 100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies in Washington. While PSBJ has yet to release the individual company rankings within that list, Seattle-based Point It is honored to be a part of a list that includes some of Washington’s best companies.
“We are very excited to be one of the PSBJ’s 100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies in Washington for 2012”, said Frank Coyle, President of Point It. “Our team has worked very hard to grow Point It and it’s very gratifying to see their efforts pay off.”
Point It (http://www.pointit.com) is Seattle’s largest independent search agency, with a team that combines creativity with technology. Each year, Point It manages more than $30 million in search media for clients such as Microsoft, ShareBuilder, AT&T, Value Village, and many others. Point It’s expertise goes beyond pay-per-click and paid search to social media advertising, search engine optimization, landing page optimization, and web design and development services.
Puget Sound Business Journal recognizes companies who had $500,000 or more in revenue in 2009 and had improved on that revenue by the end of 2011. As Puget Sound Business Journal assistant managing editor Becky Monk wrote, in recent years finding businesses with that level of success has been challenging.
“New companies that we’ve never seen on the list before are emerging with some impressive growth percentages,” Monk states. “Expect to see some amazing revenue growth again from the 100 companies that made this year's list.”
Alongside Point It on the list are Unify Square, AIM Consulting Group Washington, and SEOmoz. Last year’s winner, Contour Inc., had a revenue growth of more than 675% between the years of 2008 and 2010. The HD video camera maker was founded in 2004 by two college students.
For Point It, this announcement is the latest in a string of distinctions and honors. In August, the company was named to the Inc. 5000 list, which ranks the 5,000 fastest-growing companies in the U.S. Founded more than a decade ago by Internet pioneer Jon Lisbin, Point It has always strived to provide service unique to each customer, whether working with a small start-up or a company known the world over.
One of the keys to Point It’s success is the people on its staff. Point It prides itself on hiring knowledgeable search engine marketers who bring their expertise to Point It’s clients. The company stresses the importance of having fun while always maintaining strong work ethics and a commitment to helping other companies grow.
Puget Sound Business Journal’s 100 Fastest-Rising Companies will be honored at a ceremony October 11th at Bellevue’s Meydenbauer Center. Following the ceremony, Puget Sound Business Journal will print the official list, including rankings and profiles, in its October 2012 issue.
