LeadiD (leadid.com), a technology startup company based in Philadelphia with satellite offices in San Francisco and the DC Metro area, continues to expand. The company has hired Malcolm McLeod to oversee product development and third-party system integrations for the online lead generation space.
“As our list of lead buyer and lead seller clients continues to grow, it has become important to add a strong product development discipline into our core competencies to unlock the full value of this unique, new data set,” says Ross Shanken, LeadiD CEO. “With Malcolm’s background building products in the lead gen space, he was the obvious choice to add structure to, and oversee, our product development process. We are thrilled that he has joined us as Vice President of Product Development.”
McLeod has over eight years experience driving strategic product growth and online market visibility for online education and consumer financial services organizations. Most recently, Malcolm was the Vice President of Product and Operations for the Inquiry Management Solutions division at EducationDynamics. In this role, he was responsible for driving product development of EducationDynamics’ lead management platform, LeadWatchLive. He and his team also worked closely with school clients to create custom solutions geared to helping them maximize their success in the online space.
“For years I have listened to lead buyers and sellers talk about the need for transparency, however, neither side had been willing to provide it, for fear of relinquishing their competitive edge or divulging proprietary information," says McLeod. "As a neutral third party platform, LeadiD has uniquely solved this problem, providing the clarity and trust that the online lead gen ecosystem has needed for so long. I am convinced that LeadiD is the answer to the quality issues in online lead generation and am very excited to join such an innovative team." Malcolm will work out of the Philadelphia office.
Founded in January 2011 by Ross Shanken, LeadiD is the the only independent, neutral, open technology platform, which tracks the origin and history of every lead event that utilizes the LeadiD system. No supplier-proprietary data is exposed, but rather, LeadiD allows Lead Sellers and Lead Buyers to make real-time decisions based upon definitive origin and history flags that are predetermined. LeadiD fosters an environment of trust in the transaction, one where both Lead Sellers and Lead Buyers alike derive top-line value. With unmatched data, LeadiD is the industry standard for authenticating lead origin and history and the authentication platform of choice for firms of all sizes.
