The Costa Report announced today that the program will begin broadcasting on FM News 101 KXL in Portland, Oregon, beginning September 15, and KVOI AM 1030 in Tucson, Arizona, beginning September 28, 2012.

The announcement comes on the heals of a national syndication agreement with the Business TalkRadio Network® and VoiceAmerica™, which has propelled The Costa Report™ to become the fastest growing post-partisan weekly news program in the country. Hosted by American sociobiologist, Rebecca D. Costa, the program features a one-hour interview with a world thought-leader, followed by one hour of listener telephone calls. The Costa Report has featured guests ranging from Ron Paul, Alan Dershowitz, Bill Richardson and Pat Buchanan, to Paul Erlich and the father of the internet, Vincent Cerf.

According to Costa, “During the past year we have seen a dramatic increase in the number of internet listeners in the Portland and Tucson areas, so when KXL and KVOI extended an invitation to join their all star line-up, we jumped at the opportunity.”

Program Director for KXL, Scott Mahalick commented, “The Costa Report delivers the kind of quality journalism KXL listeners expect – week after week, she interviews newsmakers in a respectful, intelligent style, reminiscent of hosts like David Frost. We’ve had our eye on this program for quite a while.”

About Rebecca D. Costa http://www.rebeccacosta.com

Rebecca Costa is a sociobiologist who offers an evolutionary explanation for current events and emerging trends. A new voice in the mold of Thomas Friedman and Malcolm Gladwell, Costa attributes modern consternation - from terrorism, crime on Wall Street, epidemic obesity and upheaval in the Middle East - to genetic imperatives. Retiring from a career in Silicon Valley, Costa spent six years researching and writing The Watchman’s Rattle. The success of the book in 25 countries led to a weekly radio program called The Costa Report. In 2012, The Costa Report was syndicated by the Business TalkRadio Network and the VoiceAmerica Business Channel. For more information visit http://www.rebeccacosta.com
